PLCC - Private Label Credit Card

Goals

  • Implement a Private Label Credit Card program for Lucky Brand 

Background and strategic fit

Assumptions

  • Assuming that Loyalty Program UI has been implemented
    • Header updates with tiers and points listed since PLCC registration creates Lucky Brand Loyalty Account 
  • PLCC will use Radial's 367 Authorization module to work with the supporting Bank - Technical Former user (Deleted)
    • Radial's standard endpoints will be used for connecting with the bank
  • Customer must have a Lucky Brand account in order to obtain the Lucky Brand PLCC
  • Customers will be enrolled in the Loyalty Program upon PLCC registration regardless of whether they are approved or denied for the card.
  • Lucky Brand team will be responsible for providing all copy and creative that will be displayed on the site for the PLCC program.
  • Relate system will not be involved with PLCC functionality.  SFCC will receive the approved content back in the application process and would then initiate contact via Bronto. Relate will store the fact that the customer has applied for the card and has had a card # issued to them.  
  • Pre-Approval is only valid for 120 days

3.1.1 - As a customer, I can use my Lucky Brand PLCC as a payment method during checkout, and can enter this card number in the existing credit card number field

3.1.2 - As a customer, I can enter my credit card number, and the system will identify the card type (Visa, Mastercard, PLCC, etc) based on the bin range, and I will no longer have to select the card type as a separate step.

3.1.3 - As a customer, upon entering my PLCC card on the payment page, I will be given the option to donate my savings to a charity designated by Lucky Brand. If I opt to donate my discount, I will not be taxed on the amount that I donate. The system will tax my purchase as if I was keeping the discount and then add the discount amount to my order after tax.

Some examples:

Example 1, Baseline: no discount, no donation

Product: $100

Tax: 3%

Total: 100 + (100 * .03) = 103


Example 2: PLLC Discount, no donation

Product: $100

Tax: 3%

Discount: 5%

Total Charged: [100 - (100 * .05) ]  + [100 - (100 * .05) ] * .03 = 97.85


Example 3: PLCC Discount, donation made

Product: $100

Tax: 3%
